Will brings over 28 years of providing corporate officers and directors, business owners and their advisors, as well as attorneys and accountants with credible and defensible valuation opinions and consulting across a multitude of industries and contexts. He practices primarily in the area of valuation opinions related to financial reporting under US and International accounting standards, US and international tax compliance, state and federal regulatory compliance, litigation support and expert witness testimony, and financial restructuring. Types of interests valued include control, minority, and preferential interests and securities within corporate and partnership contexts including debt and option securities as well as derivatives.
Will has testified as an expert in the Superior Court of California in addition to having served as a Court appointed neutral appraiser on multiple occasions. He has also taught various professional courses for state accountancy societies and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as having presenting to relevant professional groups.
Over the past 15 years, Will was with Moss Adams, the largest west coast accounting firm, and served as Practice Leader for its Southern California Valuation Services Group as well as a member of its Valuation Services Steering Committee. Prior to Moss Adams, he was a Senior Manager in the Los Angeles Valuation Services practice of BDO Seidman, LLP, an international accounting firm, and a Senior Financial Consultant for Marshall & Stevens.
Will earned a Bachelor's of Science diploma in Corporate Finance from the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is a Level 2 candidate in the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) Program. |
